After days spent exploring the Adirondack wilderness, enjoy restful evenings in one of six guest rooms in the historic inn or one of two secluded cabins located just a short walk or drive away from the inn. Find more details on both below.
The Historic Inn
The Bark Eater accommodations include six bedrooms in our historic inn. Our rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, individually controlled heat, queen beds, down comforters and pillows, Matouk 100% luxurious cotton percale bedding, extra thick cotton towels, all natural bath products, and hairdryers. Indulge in a good night’s sleep and awake refreshed for your day’s adventures. All inn guests are served a farm fresh breakfast each morning.
Guests are welcome to gather in our comfortable hearth room, featuring a classic stone fireplace, soft leather sofas, and game table perfect for a game of checkers or chess. Our popular screened-in porch is an ideal setting for outdoor dining or sipping your morning coffee.
We also provide a self-serve kitchen area for guest use, which is equipped with a fridge, toaster, microwave, dishware, and electric kettle. Our spacious dining room, not only serves as a place to gather for meals, but also is an ideal spot to spread out your trail map or get the whole family together around a board game.

Maple
Watch the stars emerge from your own private deck. This cozy, first floor room offers a private bath and will soothe the senses with its soft color palette. Equipped with our deluxe amenities, we invite you to sit back and relax in your comfortable reading chair with a favorite book. A farm-to-table breakfast is included.

Cedar
Located on the second floor, this room has classic farmhouse details and soft grays with rich, red features. Relax in your comfortable reading chair with ottoman as you sip your coffee or cozy up with a glass of wine at the end of your day’s adventure. Indulge in our deluxe amenities in your large private bath. Includes a farm-to-table breakfast.

Birch
Our largest room, this second floor guest room has six windows making the room beautifully bright and also offering awesome views of the Bark Eater meadows and surrounding mountains. Unwind in your own plush sitting area, featuring a love seat and over-sized reading chair. Enjoy the privacy of your own bath and a farm-to-table breakfast each morning.

Forest Suite
This two or three-room suite accommodates up to six people. Two rooms have one queen bed and the third room has two twins. For groups of four or less you can choose any two of the bedrooms. Groups of five or six get all three rooms. The suite is accessed by private staircase and has one shared bathroom. These rooms are perfect for a group of friends or a family looking to have their own private space with beautiful mountain and garden views. Includes a farm-to-table breakfast for each guest.
Secluded Cabins
Starting in July 2018 we opened two newly renovated cabins nestled in the woods, with our trail network right at the doorstep. The cabins are just a short five-minute walk or two-minute drive from the main inn and guests may use the inn common areas and as long as it is not rented to a private party. Cabin guests are also welcome to enjoy the grounds. Our cabins are fully furnished with bedding, toiletries and cookware. We now have satellite wifi at both cabins.

Trillium Cabin
This private one-bedroom cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway any time of year. With a king size bed, jacuzzi tub, stand up shower, kitchenette, and a private deck surrounded by forest, you are bound to find the relaxation you’ve been needing. Kitchenette includes microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric skillet, electric hot plate, and basic cook/dishware. Breakfast at the inn is NOT included for cabin guests with the exception of a property-wide buyout.

Sentinel Cabin
This private 3 bedroom log cabin has a lovely view of Sentinel Mountain from the large back deck. It is completely refinished with a modern and fully-equipped kitchen, washer dryer, and a lounge downstairs with pool table. This cabin is great for a family or friends traveling together! 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, & 3 Baths. There are two pull out couches that can be added for $75/each. Call to make arrangements. Please note that breakfast at the Inn is NOT included for guests at this cabin with the exception of a property-wide buyout.
